Join us every Sunday as part of Seminary Sundays as we study ʿAqīdah, the foundational science of Islamic belief. This program will explore the essential beliefs of Islam through the Qur’an, Sunnah, and the understanding of the early generations, providing students with a strong and principled foundation in matters of faith.
This class is designed to move beyond simply learning a list of beliefs. Together, we will explore the foundations of Tawḥīd, Īmān, Allah’s Names and Attributes, Prophethood, the unseen, Divine Decree, the Hereafter, and other essential matters of creed. We will also examine how these beliefs shape a Muslim’s worship, character, worldview, and relationship with Allah.
Whether you are beginning your journey in the study of Islamic sciences or seeking to strengthen and deepen your understanding of ʿAqīdah, this program will provide a structured and accessible approach to the foundations of Islamic belief, while introducing students to the principles and terminology used by the scholars of Islam.
